One-Stop Career Centers work with other local, state and federal agencies and are the first stop for individuals who want help with:

• Basic Training - Obtain a GED or strengthen your basic math, English, or reading skills.
• Vocational Training - Become trained in skills in that are needed for jobs in demand today.
• On-the-Job Training - Become trained by a local employer in skills needed for a particular job through on-the-job training programs or apprenticeship opportunities.

One-Stop Career Centers also provide qualified businesses with information on customized training, on-the-job training reimbursement assistance, and training subsidies.

These One-Stop Career Centers are managed by California’s 49 Local Workforce Investment Boards, which provide additional information and guidance regarding job training, placement, and business services delivered in that area.
