Strategic State Plan for the period of July 01, 2009 - June 30, 2013

Welcome to California's Workforce Investment Board's Strategic State Plan web page. This page will provide you with important links for the development of California's new Strategic State Plan for the Workforce Investment system. The Strategic State Plan addresses the planning cycle for the State Plan for Title I of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 and the Wagner Peyser Act.

The Department of Labor has approved California’s request for an additional one year extension of the Strategic Plan for WIA Title I and the Wagner-Peyser Act.  The current plan will be effective through June 30, 2013.
